Many of you saw our cheesy bow-tie and ziti pasta dish. Mac'n'Cheese with an alternative type of pasta, made to look like butterflies and caterpillars. Today, we made noodle necklaces with the same types of pasta.
First, we painted the pasta:
Then after they were dry, we glued the bow-ties to the ziti:
Finally, we threaded the pasta like beads onto a ribbon:
And here we are with our wonderful butterfly and caterpillar necklaces!

Love the pasta butterflies!! We did the same thing last summer, but we made them dragonflies, we just glued the bow-tie towards the top of the ziti :) They loved it!! Love your blog... just found it, not sure from where... your doing a great job!!!
I hadn't even thought about making dragonflies! I bet those turned out great! Thanks for stopping by. I'm starting to get the hang of this "blogging thing."
